Pune Transoesophageal Echocardiography course (Pune TEE)

 

Pune Transoesophageal Echocardiography course is first of its kind started in Western part of India. After the introduction of Focus Assessed Transthoracic echo in November 2011 we started with Transoesophageal Echocardiography course.

For a perioperative physician echocardiography is very powerful tool and it can help you to diagnose and treat difficult and critically ill patients. This course is intended to provide basic echocardiography for the novice and interested personnel and to initiate an activity to provide formal education in echocardiography in perioperative setting. For those who can handle equipment this course can provide more hands on experience and discussion with video cases.
It involves hands-on Simulator use and virtual dissection all making you more confident about echocardiographic examination of the heart. The layout focuses on basic knowledge and it’s relevant application in day to day practice. This would ensure that a comprehensive examination can be done routinely and further skills can be achieved using the knowledge gained.

Certification is one of the important way to test your knowledge and practical skill and the course would aim to provide you relevant guidance for the same.

Being simulator based you can practice and get your concepts refined precisely and at your speed. The training on simulator and live hands on training makes this course special.

This course has received 4 CME credit points by Maharashtra Medical Council since it’s inception in 2012. Till now we have conducted 5 course and last two with our brand new simulator.
